Founders’ Day

Join us on June 27 to celebrate Founder’s Day with some good, old-fashioned family fun!

In 1979, a group of dedicated business owners and community members celebrated Cashmere’s 75th year with a Diamond Jubilee. From that celebration evolved what is known as Founders’ Day. With community support, we have grown from a small parade to a full day of festivities for all ages.

The 37th annual event will include a vintage vehicle display, arts & crafts fair, food vendors, and a full line-up of musical entertainment for the whole family. Take in the sights and sounds at the Crunch Pak Grand Parade through downtown and then head to Riverside Park for the festivities. Taste local craft beverages at the NCW Wine Country Wine & Beer Garden. Bring the kids by the Cashmere Valley Bank Kids Zone and the tremendously popular Doane’s Valley Pharmacy Ping-Pong Ball Drop (from a helicopter!). Go out with a bang and end the evening with a fireworks show!
