Headquartered in Cashmere, WA, we currently manage three nonprofits with a combined revenue of $1.25M and are regularly engaged in one-time and ongoing consulting projects of various scopes and sizes.

Initially a solo practitioner, CEO and President Vicky Scharlau founded the company in 1994. Today, 501 is a core team of eleven, offering a diverse, well-rounded skill set built through decades of experience working for nonprofits, public agencies, and for profits. Our experience in organizational governance and management combined with our knowledge of the nonprofit sector enables us to partner with nonprofit leaders to help solve their most pressing strategic challenges.
